SCHRÖDINGER HAD A CAT NAMED MILTON

Michele Pogliani—who previously danced extensively with Childs’ company before this renewed collaboration—presents Schrödinger had a cat named Milton in its world premiere. Inspired by the famous paradox of Schrödinger's cat in quantum mechanics, which states that until the box is opened, it is impossible to know whether the cat inside is alive or dead, the piece reminds us that anything can happen—or not.

Performed by the MP3 Dance Project, the cast includes Pogliani alongside Agnese Trippa, Nicolò Troiano, and Mattia Romano, with sound design by Maurizio Bergmann. Set in an abstract space, doors [or portals] open to reveal glimpses of another reality and alternate dimensions. The video installations are crafted by Michele Innocente, with costumes and set design by Tiziana Barbaranelli.
